Tujuan Didirikannya PKQWH

Asrama kapatra 2 merupakan salah satu asrama di PPMI Assalaam yang menjadi pilot project asrama berbasis tahfidz. Sehingga bisa dikatakan asrama ini beda dengan asrama-asrama yang lain. Asrama ini lebih special. Program ini pertama kali didirikan oleh Dr. Mu’inudinillah, M.Ag pada tahun ajaran 2006/2007. Program ini bernama Program Kuliyatul Quran wal Hadits (PKQWH). Pertama kali berdiri, program ini dikelola oleh ust. Dadang Setiana, S.HI, Al Hafidz dan ust. Eko Al Amin, A.Md. Beliau berdua memiliki jasa yang sangat besar dalam perkembangan program ini. Bisa dibayangkan bagaimana beratnya membangun sebuah lingkungan tahfizul Quran di tengah-tengah lingkungan yang kurang kenal terhadap al Quran. Selain itu, beliau berdua juga dengan gigih menanamkan sistem yang sesuai dengan sayri’at Islam dan sesuai dengan manhaj ahlus sunnah wal jama’ah, yang dimana waktu itu lingkungannya masih belum sesuai dengan syari’at. Khittah awal pendirian program ini adalah mencetah generasi muda yang hafal Al Quran dan menguasai ilmu-ilmu sosial ataupun ilmu sains, serta memiliki mental seorang mujahid yang siap untuk berjuang di jalan Allah SWT, memiliki mental yang kuat, tidak menjadi seorang pengecut atau “Yes Men” yang tidak berani menolak keburukan, terlebih jika datang dari orang yang lebih kuat posisinya. Disamping memiliki ketegasan, juga memiliki kasih sayang, terutama terhadap sesama muslim. Khittah di atas merupakan intisari dari sikap, dan perbuatan beliau berdua yang selalu memberikan uswah kepada santri-santrinya. Cara memimpin, memanajemen program ini, mendidik santri, menasehati, bermuamalah dengan santri, semua dilakukan secara professional, sehingga program ini dapat bertahan, terutama di tahun pertamanya meskipun belum maksimal. Semakin lama berjalan, program ini semakin mantap. Oleh karena itu, kita sebagai santri PKQWH harus melanjutkan perjuangan beliau-beliau agar program ini dapat tetap hidup sehingga tercetaklah generasi yang diharapkan oleh para pendiri program ini.

Program ini ditujukan kepada santri yang memiliki talenta dan semangat untuk menghfal Al Quran 30 Juz. Tujuannya adalah agar tercetak  santri-santri  lulusan PPMI Assalaam yang hafal 30 juz serta menguasai ilmu agama dan alam. Proses pembelajaran di PKQWH berjalan selama 5 tahun. Santri masuk program ini saat menduduki kelas 2 MTs. Setiap tahun santri dituntut untuk menghafalkan Quran minimal 7 Juz dalam setahun. Alhadulillah, meskipun belum seratus persen sesuai harapan, program ini sudah menunjukkan kemajuan. Selama tiga tahun berjalan sudah ada beberapa santri program ini yang hafal lebih dari sepuluh juz, dan ini merupakan suatu gebrakan besar bagi pondok modern sekelas PPMI Assalaam yang biasanya pondok modern kurang menekankan bidang tahfidzul Quran.

Curriculum of PKQWH

Curriculum that used in this program adopted from other Hifz Quran School with little setting of curriculum of Assalaam Islamic Modern Boarding School. In Hifz Quran School, tahseenul Quran is the most important program. Most of the students join in this program. In Assalaam Islamic Modern Boarding School, the students of tahseen program have to followed the tahseen learning at least two months. In one day, there are two meetings. The minimum mark to pass the tahseen program is 8,00. It means the students can recite the holy Quran correctly and carefully. The standard of this program is five juzs (chapter) per year. It means every student of this Program has to memorize the holy Quran at least three five juzs (chapter) per year.

The Activities about Quran

1. Tahseenul Quran (Improve The Recitation of the holy Quran)

Advances religious teachers argue that the reading of the holy Quran in accordance with the rules of tajweed and makhorijul huruf is required. Prophet Mohammad SAW said:

سأل أنس بن مالك عن قراءة النبيّ ص م فقال: كان يمدّ مدّا(رواه البخارى)

“Anas bin Malik asked about the reading of the Prophet SAW. He said:” the condition of the Prophet PBUH prolong reads reads mad (to be read long) (Reported by Bukhari)

The ability to read the holy Quran is not only able to read it without

the principle of makhorijul huruf and tajweed, because :

إِنَّ اللهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الكَافِرِيْنَ

Allah SWT does not love the unbeliever

إِنَّ اللهَ لَيُحِبُّ الكَافِرِيْنَ

Allah SWT really love the unbelievers

3. The reader is not quite pleasant reading the holy Quran

Tahseenul Quran is the guidance to correct the reciting of the holy Quran in accordance with the principle of makhorijul huruf and tajweed for the students of Kuliyatul Quran wal Hadith Program before memorizing the holy Quran. The new students of Kuliyatul Quran wal Hadith Program who able to recite the holy Quran only slightly, approximately 15 percent. So, most new students entering tahseenul Quran program.

The needed time for each student to pass tahseen program is different. This is influenced by many things such as speech, desire, perseverance and application of the principle in reciting the holy Quran. More often the students recite the holy Quran with the principal, more fluent they get in reciting the holy Quran. The average time needed by the students to pass the tahseen program is between three months until six months.

2. Tahfeedzul Quran (Memorizing of The Holy Quran)

Tahfeedzul Quran is adding the quantity of the holy Quran memorization by recite it to the teacher whom listen it attentively. The newest memorization has to listened to the teacher in order to maintain the quality of the holy Quran memorization. For the holder of the holy Quran, any number of the holy Quran memorization they have, but has not been listened, then the memorization is not considered a really memorization. Because, if the memorization has not been listened yet, perhaps there is an error in the memorization.

Not all of the students of Kuliyatul Quran wal Hadith Program can directly memorize the holy Quran. Requirement to memorize the holy Quran is able to recite the holy Quran correctly and carefully in accordance with the principal of makhorijul huruf and tajweed, and fluent in the recitation, or in the other words these students have passed tahseen program.

The students of Kuliyatul Quran wal Hadith Program that enter in tahfeedz group are divided into several groups according the tahfeedz teacher. The students can not deposit their memorization to other teacher. It is done so that the teacher can monitor the improvement of the students more specifically, particularly in reciting the holy Quran and their memorization

Tahfeedz quantity is one page per day. This provision applies to all students of Kuliyatul Quran wal Hadith Program that licensed to memorize. Although the deposit standard is same, the method that used by students is multifarious. There are the students who deposit their new memorization directly, there are also who repeat his old memorization before deposit their newest memorization, approximately two sheets of old memorization.

3. Muroja’ah (Reviewing of The Old Memorization)

Memorizing the holy Quran requires diligence. Intelligence is no guarantee that holy Quran will not be lost from memory. This is one of the character of the holy Quran, Allah SWT made it easy to lose from the memories. Prophet Mohammad SAW said,

تعاهدوا القرآن والذي نفس محمّد بيده لهو أشدّ تفلّتا من الإبل في علقها(متّفق عليه)

Always with the holy Quran, by the substance that Mohammed’s soul is in his hand. Indeed, it is more quickly lose from the camel is in it tether.(Reported by: Muttafaq ‘Alaih)

The philosophy of Mohamed SAW decision is the holy Quran Memorizer familiar with the holy Quran along the time. Caused the holy Quran can lose easily, the holy Quran memorizers must to repeat their memorization so it do not from memory. In memorizing the holy Quran, there are two kinds of forget, natural forget and carelessness forget. The natural forget is naturally forgoten, the memorizer does not plan to ignore the memorization. Carelessness forget is forget that caused by the memorizer himself by ignoring the holy Quran willfully, and the carelessness forget is violation of god’s law.

The way how to maintain the memorization is muroja’ah. Muroja’ah is repeating the old memorization of the holy Quran. There are two methods of muroja’ah, autodidact muroja’ah, and muroja’ah with listened by the teacher. Autodidact muroja’ah is muroja’ah that done by students their selves without listened by the teacher. This muroja’ah has to be done by the holy Quran memorizers, with this muroja’ah, the memorizer can repeat more old memorization, because it can be done whenever the memorizer want to do. But, with this muroja’ah the validity of the memorization has not guaranteed. The lacking of this method is covered by listened method. In this method the memorizer repeat the old memorization with listened by the teacher. This method is done to maintain the validity of memorization.

The holy Quran memorizers have to use both autodidact method and listened method to maintain the quality and validity of the memorization. The advances religious teacher suggests to repeat all of the memorization once per week. So, the holders of holy Quran who have memorized entire the holy Quran have to repeat the memorization at least five juzs (chapter) per day.

4. Tahfeedz Examination

The purpose of tahfeedz examination is to evaluate the memorization of students. This examination is held before school examination, neither mid semester nor semester examination. Examination materials is total amount of the memorization that the students memorized. So, the material for each student is different.

The examination method that applied in this program is same with examination method in much of the other tahfeedz program. Each student gets three question for each juz (chapter) he memorized. The question is first part of verse, and the student’s task is to continue the verse until the examiner gives code. Scoring system using the point system. Final value is the accumulation of value of each question.
